SUMMARY:Classical and Acoustic Musicians and Artists Wanted
DESCRIPTION:Hosted by Koreshan State Park/Florida Park Service\n\nAt Koreshan State Park we have a beautiful historic settlement from the turn of the century. During our busy winter season we are interested in having volunteers who play acoustically playing throughout the settlement. Alternatively\, we have an air conditioned Art Hall where we have an 1885 Steinway piano. This piano was made before the keys were standardized and is different from modern pianos today. We also have an operational pump organ.November 18th we are looking for a variety of musicians to play as well as February 7th. This could be a small ensemble or solo artists.For artists\, we are looking for people who might want to dress in period costume (we can provide) and paint or do another turn of the century craft (sewing \, stitiching\, woodworking\, and others). We are interested in you for our two events but also to add interest to visitors touring the settlement. Additionally\, we might be interested in people who can paint murals for us for the purpose of interpretation of the cultural resource or an event.If you apply we will invite you to the park to show you around to see if this might be a opportunity you'd enjoy.
