To be a volunteer driver with Sound Generations Volunteer Transportation Services is to provide seniors living at home more independence\, companionship\, and assurance.Using their own vehicle (mileage reimbursement is an option)\, volunteer drivers take adults 55 and older to much needed medical appointments. Clients are enormously grateful for their improved access to medical care\, meaningful interactions with caring volunteers\, and increased peace of mind.This opportunity is extremely FLEXIBLE\, allowing volunteers to pick the days\, times\, frequency\, and areas they wish to drive.
