DESCRIPTION:Hosted by WriterCoach Connection\n\nJoin WriterCoach Connection (WCC) and make a difference as a volunteer writing coach! WCC brings teams of trained volunteers into East Bay middle schools to provide one-on-one support\, helping students develop their writing and critical thinking skills. We're currently recruiting volunteers for King Middle School in Berkeley - and we would love to have you on board.As A WriterCoach\, You Will:Work one-on-one or with small groups of middle school studentsHelp students build confidence in their writing assignmentsMeet with students once a week for 10-12 weeks\, in person\, on campusOur comprehensive training provides everything you need to be a great coach. We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds - working professionals\, retirees\, parents\, grandparents\, college students\, and community members.
