DESCRIPTION:Hosted by Satellite Affordable Housing Associates\n\nSAHA is currently seeking a on-going volunteer to help with our on-site food distribution program. Distribution happens every 1st and 3rd Friday of the month from 8:00am-11am. Sign up for individual or multiple shifts. The volunteers closely with SAHA’s staff to help sort donations from and organize produce for resident to choose from.Primary Duties:Help unload donated food from truck to the site's community roomOrganize food for residents to select their produceDisinfect work station before and after each shiftLight janitorial tasks to help put back the community room at the end of each shift as neededAbilities and Attributes:Commitment to following food safety guidelines.Reliability\, punctuality\, accountability.Ability to work as part of a team.Able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.Requirements: Ongoing SAHA Community Volunteers must commit to volunteer for a minimum of 4 months\, and must complete a volunteer orientation (25min. video & short quiz)\, and volunteer forms prior to beginning their placement.
