DESCRIPTION:Hosted by CAREGIVERS:Volunteers Assisting the Elderly\n\nCAREGIVERS was founded in 1984 and has assisted thousands of seniors in Ventura County. If you have an affinity for the elderly\, have a safe working vehicle\, and are able to drive seniors to medical appointments\, you may be a good candidate for our senior transportation program. Drivers are called by CAREGIVERS one week or more prior to an appointment and choose to accept or decline the request. Drivers pick up seniors\, drive to the appointment\, wait for the senior\, and then drive the senior home. Volunteer drivers may designate how many drives they perform per month.
