DESCRIPTION:Hosted by Housecall Providers\n\nVery often\, only another Veteran truly understands. That is the simple reasoning behind the establishment of our new Vet-to-Vet program\, seeking to recruit Veteran volunteers to serv e the unique needs of Veteran patients.Our Vet-to-Vet volunteers will make weekly visits to patients who are on hospice\, are disabled\, or living with advanced illness - providing emotional support\, companionship\, or simply quiet acceptance. When one of our patients identifies as a Veteran\, their presence will be our most important asset.
