DESCRIPTION:Hosted by Good Shepherd Hospice\, Joplin\, MO\n\nAre you a veteran? Would you like an opportunity to make the difference in another veterans' life? We are looking for veterans to provide end of life care to our patients. The veteran would be there to be a companion to the patient and help them with life reviews if they wanted to leave that behind. Nobody understands a veteran like another veteran so we do try to pair veteran with veteran. We don't want anyone dying alone and you could become a quiet presence at the end of another veterans life. Not only by volunteering for our patients but you also become a powerful advocacy about hospice care when talking to your friends and family.
