DESCRIPTION:Hosted by Alzheimer's Association\, Greater Missouri\n\nSunnyhill Development Committee\nBe Part of The Sunshine Effect\nSunnyhill invites passionate community members to join our Development Committee and help light the path to empowered living for individuals diagnosed with developmental disabilities.\nSince 1978\, Sunnyhill has provided person-centered supports that empower individuals to grow\, connect\, and thrive throughout the Greater St. Louis region. Through residential services\, behavioral supports\, life skills development\, family navigation\, and community integration\, we help create brighter futures every day.\nAt Sunnyhill\, we believe every act of kindness creates a ripple of impact. That ripple is what we call The Sunshine Effect.\nWhat Does the Development Committee Do?\nThe Development Committee helps raise the voice and visibility of Sunnyhill throughout the community. Committee members help:\nRaise awareness and expand Sunnyhill’s community presence\nPlan marketing and impact campaigns\nSupport fundraising events and donor engagement opportunities\nCoordinate volunteer involvement and community connections\nAdvocate for inclusion and empowered living for individuals diagnosed with developmental disabilities\nCommittee members meet four times annually and typically contribute between 20–40 volunteer hours per year.\nServing on a committee is also the first step toward future leadership opportunities\, including potential service on the Sunnyhill Board of Directors.
