DESCRIPTION:Hosted by American Red Cross-Indiana Region\n\nScreening is a Remote/Virtual Volunteer Opportunity! You'll assist new volunteers find their "perfect fit" within the American Red Cross.Key Responsibilities:-Schedules and conducts volunteer screening interviews. -Reviews and has general understanding of volunteer opportunities.-Prepares for screening interviews following standardized training protocol.-Matches volunteers to positions for which they are best suited\, based on skills\, interest\, availability and available options.-Updates Volunteer Connection\, Red Cross' online volunteer management system\, with candidate information and makes referrals as required.Development Opportunities:-Opportunities to work in a fast-paced and professional environment.-Working with deadlines and specific time-lines. Hone and developinterview skills.-Experience towards working with Event Based Volunteers and Staff.-Services on Disaster Relief Operations.Qualifications:-Reliable access to resources needed to volunteer 100% virtually.-Excellent oral and written communication skills - both English and Spanish.-Broad understanding of the American Red Cross and its opportunities for volunteer service (training provided).-Enthusiastic about American Red Cross programs.-Ability to work with computer database (training provided).-Comfortable making phone calls to volunteers.-Previous experience with customer service is a plus.-HR experience or experience conducting interviews a plus.Training:-Orientation to the American Red Cross-Position specific training\, including but not limited to Volunteer Connection-Regional training - understanding the region's volunteer needs\n\nDetails: https://findyourtwo.org/opp/?id=28222
