The American Red Cross is seeking Military Hospital Professional Volunteers to support service members\, veterans\, and their families in Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs) and clinics across the National Capital & Greater Chesapeake Region. Commitment: 5–10 hours per week Who We’re Looking For: Licensed or credentialed healthcare professionals\, including: Physicians\, Nurses (RN/LPN)\, Nurse Practitioners\, Certified Nursing Assistants Dentists\, Physical Therapists\, Veterinarians EMTs\, Phlebotomists\, Lab\, Radiology\, and Pharmacy Technicians Licensed Clinical Social Workers\, Mental Health Professionals What You’ll Do: Provide care and support to patients under the supervision of medical staff Perform duties aligned with your license and training (examples include: greeting/screening patients\, answering questions\, taking vitals\, transporting specimens\, assisting with patient transport\, performing diagnostic tests\, venipunctures/IVs\, EKGs\, dispensing/restocking medications\, etc.) Maintain professionalism\, confidentiality (HIPAA)\, and ethical standards of care Contribute to the wellbeing of military members\, veterans\, and their families Requirements: Age 18+ Background check required Active and valid professional license\, credentials\, or certification (per MTF policy) No driver’s license required Join us in serving those who serve our nation.
