DESCRIPTION:Hosted by Caring And Sharing Foundation\, Inc.\n\nBrief Organizational Description:\nThe Swansboro West Civic Association sponsors a neighborhood clean-up the first Saturday of each month from 10:00 to noon. Every little bit helps.\nVolunteer Position Description and Purpose:\nVolunteers will be paired up to collect trash on the sidewalks and streets in different areas of the neighborhood.\nVolunteer Duties & Responsibilities:\nVolunteers will be identifying trash\, grasping it with pickers and putting it into bags. When a bag gets full or too heavy\, the volunteers will leave it at an intersection and notify the event coorinator of the location for later retrieval.\nQualifications\, Skills\, & Requirements:\nNo special skills or training is needed. Just need the ability to walk\, grasp trash with a picker\, put it into a bag and carry the bag while walking.\nTime Commitment:\nThe event is scheduled for two hours from 10:00am to noon\, but we will take whatever time someone can offer during that time period.\nOther Information (if applicable):\nComfortable shoes are highly recommended\nGlove\, vests\, pickers and bags will be provided (unless we run out)\nStreet parking is available throughout the neighborhood\n\nMinimum age: 10.\n\nDetails: https://findyourtwo.org/opp/?id=29178
