DESCRIPTION:Hosted by Family Services of the Desert\, Inc\, dba Food Now\n\nAmazing opportunity awaits at our local food pantry Food Now! Food Now urgently needs your help. We distribute over 1\,000\,000 pounds of health fresh food annually to vulnerable and at-risk populations including low-income families\, seniors\, children\, shut-ins\, and the homeless. We currently have awesome volunteer opportunities available to help receive\, sort\, box\, and distribute food for our weekly distributions to approximately 400 struggling households every week. We operate Monday through Thursday from 7am till 12 noon. Can you spare 5 hours\, one per week to help out for those in need? The positions we are looking to fill are performed in our climate-controlled warehouse\, in a safe\, friendly\, and rewarding environment.This small sacrifice will have a huge impact in the lives of the hundreds of families who depend on Food Now.
