SUMMARY:Volunteer to Restore the Historic Kane Ranch near the Grand Canyon!
DESCRIPTION:Hosted by HistoriCorps\n\nBeginning October 4th through November 13th we will host six weeks of volunteer opportunities restoring the historic headquarters at Kane Ranch located along the north rim of the Grand Canyon in Arizona.\nWe are a Colorado-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides volunteers of all skill levels with hands-on experience preserving historic buildings through week-long volunteer sessions camping on public lands.\nThe vast majority of HistoriCorps volunteers are retirees\, with hundreds participating each year. While some volunteers have backgrounds in the trades\, many come simply with an interest in learning new skills and giving back through service. No previous historic preservation or construction experience is required.
