DESCRIPTION:Hosted by Pamela's Big Heart Foundation Inc.\n\nPresented by Legislator Shanae Williams of the Westchester County Board of Legislators\, the Domestic Violence Awareness 5K Run is hosted each year to raise awareness of domestic violence—and volunteers are invited to show their support!\nVolunteers are needed to help with the following shifts:\nSet-Up and Registration (7:30-9:30 a.m.): help set up the registration table\, register runners\, and distribute bibs\nCourse Cheerleaders (9:30-10:30 a.m.): cheer on runners and distribute water along the course route\nSnacks and Awards (10:30-11:15 a.m.): distribute refreshments to runners\, assist with handing out awards to medalists\, share information about YCAP's services to attendees\nClean-Up (11:15 a.m.-1:30 p.m.): assist with clean up of the park facilities\nVolunteer requirements and event details:\nThis event takes place rain or shine\nVolunteers must be able to stand for 2+ hours\nVolunteers should wear sunscreen\, bug spray\, and comfortable clothing and sneakers\nVolunteers must be 18+ to sign up\; those ages 14-17 may be signed up "As a Family\, Group or Team" as part of an adult's team\nVolunteers of all shifts are invited to stay for a complimentary lunch between 11:15 a.m.-12 p.m.\nVolunteers who speak Spanish are welcome!\nSign up for one or more shifts below!\n\nMinimum age: 14.\n\nDetails: https://findyourtwo.org/opp/?id=37963
