DESCRIPTION:Hosted by White Bird Appaloosa Horse Rescue\n\nYou know the old saying "The family that....................stay together"! Well we have another one for you:The family that mucks out and looks after rescued horses together\, stay together. Catchy huh?We would love you to come join us\, and our other family volunteers\, in helping with the care and welfare of our rescue horses. And it's not a one sided activity. Children of all ages will benefit from the interaction and personal development. Our horses love their human carers\, and provide a stress free environment away from the hustle and bustle of modern life. Come and try us out\, and you won't be disappointed. We respect the requirements for Covid safety by letting you work within your bubble and maintaining social distancing and masks (where necessary) in the proximity of others. Many of our volunteers wear masks anyway because of the hay and dust\, which with high allergen levels can cause problems. Horse and farm work experience is appreciated but not essential.
