SUMMARY:Seeking Volunteers (year-round) to support our Equine\, Gardens and Non-profit Educational Program.
DESCRIPTION:Hosted by WHOLE KIDS ADVENTURE\n\nWe are seeking highly motivated and skilled volunteers in the area of Equine\, for our Gardens and 5.5-acre community spaces as well as our classrooms (WG offers education to youth ages 18months - Middle School).Volunteer opportunties can be hourly\, partial-day\, or day/week-long for credit.Needs:Equine Volunteers: Work with our horses for caring (prior skills needed). We have 2 therapy horses on site that we don't ride anymore (our ladies are retired) but we work with them and our children have access to learn about horsemanship and care-taking for horses. We'd love to work with several horse lovers who can support us with feeding\, and care-taking.Gardening Volunteers: Support with our Fall-Garden set-up\, mulching\, weeding\, composting\, expanding garden beds\, filling soil\, pruning and care-taking of our spaces.Non-profit Volunteers: passionate change-makers to support our classrooms (toddler\, pre-K\, K-Elementary)\, to support our creative and extra-curriular lessons.
