Volunteers provide companionship at a patient's bedside to running errands. Ways to be involved include\, holding a hand\, listening\, reading or singing as well as running errands or perform light housekeeping. Volunteering takes no advanced training or great commitment. All hospice volunteers are given assignments that best suit their time\, skills and interests.
