DESCRIPTION:Hosted by Hands On Nashville\n\nCommunity cats are outdoor\, free-roaming cats. They may be friendly or feral. Our Community Cat Program reduces the number of cats entering shelters and improves the lives of cats living outdoors.\nThrough the program\, we humanely trap\, evaluate\, spay/neuter\, vaccinate\, and ear-tip to signify sterilization\, and return community cats to their original habitats - a process known as Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR).\nVolunteering in the Community Cat House is a very rewarding role\, as you have a direct impact on the cats and kittens that we are currently serving.\nCore Responsibilities\nGiving food & water to Cats\nReplace soiled puppy pads and scoop litter boxes\nClean and sanitize cages and traps\nRestock necessary items such as food\, cleaning supplies\, puppy pads and linens\nSweep\, mop and take out trash\nCommunicate with CCPC regarding any abnormalities or needs\n* All jobs are done in the air conditioned feral cat house or spay/neuter clinic.\nTime Commitment and Location\nPet Community Center is located at 5233 Harding Place\, Suite 5247 Nashville\, TN 37217\nCommitment to at least 2 shifts per month.
