DESCRIPTION:Hosted by Pamela's Big Heart Foundation Inc.\n\nVolunteers are needed to prepare and plant flowerbeds at Saxon Woods Park to get the popular and beloved pool ready for the summer! No experience is necessary and all supplies and instruction will be provided\, but please bring your own water.\nWhat to know:\nDress for the weather including hats for sun protection\; check the forecast before leaving\nWear closed-toe shoes\, long pants\, and items that can get dirty\nBring your own reusable water bottle\nGloves will be provided\, but feel free to bring your own if you have them\nWeather/cancellation policy:\nVolunteers will work in most weather\, including cold\, heat\, and light precipitation\, so please dress accordingly! Westchester Parks Foundation will cancel the project if the weather seems like it may affect the safety of its volunteers.\nIn the case of inclement weather\, the project may be cancelled up to an hour before the project start time. If you do not receive a cancellation email from Westchester Parks Foundation or Volunteer New York! before then\, the project is on as scheduled.\nRegistration for this opportunity ends 24 hours prior to the project start time.\nThis activity requires all volunteers to complete a mandatory waiver:\nSign up below either as an individual or as a family\, group\, or team to record this activity in your Volunteer New York! profile\nClick here to complete the mandatory waiver for each volunteer participating.
