Please contact Nikki Gerber\, Volunteer Recruiting Specialist/Administrative Assistant via this VolunteerMatch link or at nicole.gerber@corsocare.com or (248) 260-8257.CorsoCare Hospice is seeking compassionate\, empathetic individuals who are willing to give their time and supportive presence to become VIGIL NODA "No One Dies Alone" volunteers. These incredibly special volunteers are asked to provide support to our actively dying patients at Grand Victorian in Zionsville. This includes sitting by the bedside\, providing calming music or supportive presence (conversation/reading/gentle touch) and supporting grieving families at the bedside.Please note: If you are new to hospice or NODA volunteering\, as part of your training\, you will be asked to serve as a Companion Volunteer for a period of 1-2 months to ensure it is a fit.
