Responsibilities may include:Companionship: Reading books\, playing music\, playing cards\, crafts\, painting nails\, going for walks\, or attending facility eventsSupport: Engaging in conversations\, empathetic listening\, offering comfort\, or simply sitting quietly\, providing a reassuring presenceCaregiver Respite: Providing relief for family members and caregivers by staying with the patient\, allowing them to take breaks\, attend appointments\, or tend to personal needs.*Volunteers do not to perform medical treatment of any kind.*Training and Support:Receive training in hospice care principles and ongoing support from our team to ensure you feel prepared and confident in your role.Time Commitment:Flexible hours to fit your schedule\, typically a couple of hours a week.
