DESCRIPTION:Hosted by Martinsville Senior Center\n\nWhat You'll Do:\nOur Donation Pick-up Drivers play a vital role in keeping The Sharing Place Food Pantry stocked and ready to serve our neighbors. Volunteers in this role drive our Sharing Place vans (Ford Transit) to local grocery stores to collect food and other items for the pantry. This role involves some heavy lifting and comfort behind the wheel.\nVolunteers interested in driving The Sharing Place vans are asked to complete a few forms before getting started. Ideal for dependable individuals who take pride in reliability and teamwork. Heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.) may be required when loading or unloading donations.\nNo matter your previous experience or background\, we welcome volunteers of all skill levels!
