Empowering the Masses is a Christian\, faith-based organization that aims to use our model of Education + Advocacy = Empowerment in order to provide the resources that allow communities to be self-sustaining. We are currently accepting volunteers for our community market and drive-thru food pantry located at 3220 Samuell Blvd. Dallas\, TX 75223.Friday Volunteer Shift:Time: 9:00 am - 12:30 pmNeed: 10-30 volunteersActivities: Volunteers on Fridays assist with unloading our distribution truck and packaging food for the Saturday distribution.What to Wear:- Please dress comfortably and wear closed-toed shoes (non-slip if possible) . There isn't any room for personal items\, so please pack sparingly.Parking:- Please aim to arrive at the start of your respective shift- Park at the rear section of our Community Market parking lot or around our drive-through area- As parking space is limited\, I encourage carpooling whenever feasible.
