DESCRIPTION:Hosted by Grane Hospice\n\nWe are searching for empathetic and caring individuals who are compassionate about the needs of the people in their community. These volunteers will visit patients in "their home" which is either a facility or their home and would comprise of holding a hand\, reading a book\, completing their life story\, reminiscing\, or providing comfort to the patient or family\, just to name a few. We will complete a background check\, a 2 step TB test\, and provide training- all at no cost to you! Transportation is necessary\, we ask for drivers lisencse and auto insurance and we provide mileage reimbursement. We make every effort to have you visit close to your home. Our volunteers are important to our team and patients\, so we will respect your schedule with a flexible\, at least monthly time commitement.
