DESCRIPTION:Hosted by Alzheimer's Association\, Greater Missouri\n\nVolunteers Needed: Holiday Party for Families with Autism\nSaturday\, December 12\, 2026 | 12:00–4:00 PM\nMaryland Heights Community Center | Maryland Heights\, MO\nHelp Us Create a Holiday Celebration Where Every Family Feels Welcome!\nThe Freddie Ford Family Foundation is looking for enthusiastic\, caring volunteers to help make our Annual Holiday Party a joyful and sensory-friendly experience for children with autism and their families.\nThis special event will give families an opportunity to celebrate the holidays\, make memories\, and enjoy a fun afternoon in a welcoming environment where children can participate at their own pace and without judgment.\nVolunteer Opportunities\nVolunteers can help with:\nEvent setup and decorations\nWelcoming and checking in families\nHoliday crafts and activities\nGames and family activities\nGift distribution\nFood and refreshment stations\nHelping with holiday photos\nSupporting a sensory-friendly environment\nEvent cleanup and breakdown\nGeneral event support and making families feel welcome\nWho We're Looking For\nWe need volunteers who are:\n14 years or older\nFriendly\, patient\, dependable\, and comfortable working with children and families\nWilling to help wherever needed\nRespectful of different communication styles\, sensory needs\, and abilities\nReady to bring a warm smile and positive holiday spirit!\nNo special experience with autism is required.
