DESCRIPTION:Hosted by United Way of San Antonio and Bexar County\n\nNext of 3 upcoming shifts (through Nov 26\, 2026).\n\nRegistration Now Open\nThe 47th Annual Raul Jimenez Thanksgiving Dinner will be held on Thursday\, November 26th\, 2026\, in Banquet Halls 3 and 4 of the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center at 900 E. Market Street.\nSchedule: An all-faith worship service will be held at 10 a.m. Dinner will be served from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Musical entertainment will be provided from 11 am to 4 pm.\nVolunteers\, please read the information below carefully. If you’d like to receive additional information as it becomes available\, please provide your email address. If you don't see the shift you want\, unfortunately\, that means there are no remaining slots available. Please consider an alternate shift.\nVolunteer Information\nVOLUNTEERS – Age 8 and older with an accompanying adult can volunteer on the day of the event\, and children age 14 with an accompanying adult can volunteer in the kitchen. Per the health inspectors\, please refrain from wearing rings\, watches\, and/or bracelets if working in the kitchen. NO SHORTS\, flip-flops\, open-toed shoes\, or high heels allowed in the kitchen. Purses\, jewelry\, and large crossbody bags are NOT allowed per the convention center restrictions.\nPARKING - We apologize for the inconvenience\; there are no parking provisions for volunteers.\nEntrance to Convention Center: - All volunteers enter the Convention Center through the main lobby of the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center at 900 E. Market Street – follow the signage.\nVolunteer Roles and Shifts:\nPRE-THANKSGIVING - We need help decorating the Convention Center on Wednesday\, November 26th.
