Position Summary
Quality Reviewers ensure tax returns are accurate, complete, and compliant with IRS requirements before they are filed.
Primary Responsibilities
Review completed tax returns prepared by volunteers.
Verify taxpayer information and supporting documentation.
Confirm the accuracy of tax law application.
Identify and correct errors prior to electronic filing.
Help ensure every taxpayer receives high-quality service.
Requirements & Training
Must hold IRS tax law certification at the advance level.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

This self-paced e-learning portal provides all required tax law instruction, certification tests, and reference materials needed to become an IRS-certified volunteer.
