Event Planning & Coordination - 95% Virtual

LumaRise is seeking an organized, dependable volunteer to assist with planning and coordination for The LumaRise Experience: Illuminating Hope, Rising Together, our October 22, 2026 public launch and fundraising event in Virginia Beach.
This volunteer will help track timelines, outstanding tasks, vendors, volunteers, event logistics, and planning information through Google Drive. The role may also include helping coordinate supplies, signage, silent auction preparation, and other event needs.
Approximately 95% of this opportunity can be completed virtually on a flexible schedule. At least one in-person working session will be held at the TCC Joint-Use Library in Virginia Beach before the event to help organize and package silent auction items.
After the event, the volunteer will also help with follow-up, closeout activities, and documenting lessons learned for future LumaRise events.
We are looking for someone who is organized, responsive, detail-oriented, comfortable taking initiative, and able to follow through on commitments.
