Arts Festival - Event Volunteer

Passionate about art, community engagement, and service? Come support Allies for Every Child’s Children’s Arts Festival: Harvesting Curiosity.
Why: Allies will be hosting its annual Children's Arts Festival - Allies at the Farmer's Market: Harvesting Curiosity, Growing Minds. Celebrating community and highlighting the wonder of art and creativity, Allies will offer food and beverages, provide different activity stations, and host community partners offering free resources. With your support, you are making an impact in the lives of children and families by providing much needed care and support.
Who: Allies for Every Child works to ensure that every child has a safe and nurturing environment and the support necessary to grow, learn and thrive. Allies supports under-served, vulnerable children and their families in southwest Los Angeles County by providing a full range of crucial, multidisciplinary services, including child development (early care and education and special needs) and child welfare (foster care and adoption, family support, family preservation, infant and family mental health, health consultation and referrals).
What to Expect: Volunteers will help with:
Set-up and takedown
Decorations
Packing swag bags
Welcoming families, blowing bubbles, taking photos
Monitoring stations (petting zoo supervisor)
Leading or supporting art activity stations (bracelet making, facepainting, bouquet making, animal mask decorations, tote bag designing)
Distributing produce, diapers, swag bags
What's Required:
Must sign a Volunteer Agreement Form
Minimum age to volunteer: 12 years old
Volunteers under 16 must have parent/guardian sign and chaperone at event
