Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program

Volunteer Greeters will screen taxpayers to ensure they are eligible for services, have all paperwork and have completed all forms accurately. Volunteer Preparers will prepare tax returns. Volunteer Administrative Assistants will help maintain volunteer break area, including prepping lunch and snacks. They will also help update reports, organize paperwork and assist the site coordinator. Translators will provide translation services. All volunteers earn annual certifications from the IRS.
Minimum age: 18.
