Food Pantry Volunteer

Food Pantry Volunteers help with food instability in our community. Your support provides essential services in providing care and assistance to those in need.
Duties include
Sorting food donations
Sorting and assembling food bags
Sorting non-food items
Distributing items
Requires excellent teamwork skills, empathy and non-judgmental attitude, and ability to work calmly with individuals experiencing high crisis and anxiety in their lives.
Shifts:
3-hours shifts Monday - Friday
Volunteers sign up for 1 shift a week for a minimum of 3 months
Volunteers work together in the social services area. Work may include reaching, bending, lifting, pushing, and walking.
All volunteers must attend an online orientation to learn about our different volunteer opportunities, procedures, volunteer scheduling, and answer your questions.
