Nature Nurturers at Escalante Community Garden

The Escalante Community Garden is a garden that follows a communal model with healthy growing practices. A portion of the garden’s harvest is given to Tempe Community Action Agency's Food Pantry to supplement emergency food boxes. The garden features a children's area, as well as a desert and herb garden.
Volunteers will help care for the garden. Duties may include weeding, planting, pruning, and harvesting!Please wear closed-toe shoes, and clothes that can get dirty. Bring SPF and water!
The minimum age for this volunteer opportunity is 8 with a parent or guardian. All Volunteers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Volunteers ages 16 and 17 who aren't attending a project with a parent/guardian MUST bring a Youth Waiver signed by a parent or guardian, to each project.
