UACE Graham County 4 H Program Assistant

. The AmeriCorps Volunteer will assist with recruiting and promoting 4-H youth and community volunteer participation, network with other community agencies, contribute to 4-H social networking sites, and may be asked to help with planning and preparing for group lessons and activities.
Special emphasis will be communication with staff, members and project leaders (volunteers) by creating and sending friendly weekly reminders via text and or email, maintaining the 4-H calendar, creating and maintaining a monthly newsletter. Additional duties may include gathering necessary materials and supplies for various teaching methods to promote learning and implementing activities.
Schedule may vary based on programming needs and may require member to attend and help at various monthly afternoon, evening or Saturday meetings, activities and events.
