Community Outreach Event - Helpers & Assistants Needed!

Join Village Family Community Resource Center and help us prepare for and serve families during our community outreach events! This is a wonderful opportunity for individuals, groups and families to get involved in the spirit of giving while helping us create an organized, welcoming and dignified experience for the families we serve.
Volunteers may be assigned to a variety of duties based on the needs of the event, including greeting and assisting guests, client intake and registration, sorting food, clothing, toys and other donations, preparing food or meal items, assembling goodie bags and hygiene kits, organizing distribution areas, breaking down boxes, assembling bikes, toys and gifts, and assisting with distribution.
Some volunteers will also be needed for heavy lifting, loading and unloading trucks and vehicles, moving boxes and supplies, setting up and breaking down distribution areas, and other physically demanding tasks.
This is a fast-paced, hands-on environment, so volunteers should be dependable, flexible, able to follow directions, work well as part of a team, and be willing to assist wherever needed. Duties will be assigned according to age, ability and event needs.
Come ready to work, have fun, and help us make a difference for our community!
