Homeless Outreach

Help Forgiven Kingdom with their goal of meeting practical needs while building relationships and reminding people they are valued and not forgotten.
Why: This outreach provides critical support to individuals facing homelessness by meeting basic needs such as food, clothing, and hygiene supplies. Volunteers also help create moments of connection, dignity, and hope for people who may be going through difficult seasons.
Who: Forgiven Kingdom hosts a monthly Homeless Outreach to serve individuals experiencing homelessness throughout the Lancaster community. Through this outreach, volunteers help distribute food, clothing, hygiene kits, and other essential items while offering encouragement and support.
What to Expect: Volunteers may assist with:
Distributing food, water, and outreach supplies
Helping organize and hand out clothing and hygiene kits
Greeting and connecting with individuals in the community
Assisting with setup and breakdown of outreach stations
Helping maintain a safe, organized environment
Supporting the outreach team with logistics and coordination
What's Required:
Must be respectful, compassionate, and willing to serve people from all backgrounds
Able to commit to the full volunteer shift (approximately 3 hours)
Follow direction from outreach leaders and team coordinators
Dress appropriately for outdoor community service
Maintain a positive and welcoming attitude
No prior outreach experience is required
