Volunteer at Easterseals Ranch in Nokomis [SAR]

Easterseals Ranch of Easterseals Southwest Florida seeks individuals to give back to their community by volunteering in Nokomis, Florida. The Ranch has been a community staple in south Sarasota County for more than 25 years, and offers hippotherapy which is traditional speech, occupational and physical therapy on horseback for children and adults with disabilities, as well as equine assisted therapy for veterans and first responders.
Skip the costly gym membership and get your steps in while making a meaningful impact! Help individuals with disabilities thrive—no horse experience needed, and volunteer days and times are flexible to fit your schedule.

We have a volunteer process that begins with competing a volunteer application at: Volunteer at Easterseals Ranch.
Once you complete the application, we will contact you to schedule a tour of our facilities and to learn more about your interests. There is also a background check that will need to be completed. You can select the best day and time to volunteer, and you can choose to volunteer one day a week to seven days a week, and for one hour or more. We schedule your volunteer time based on what works for you. Volunteers are needed Sunday-Saturday, between 8:00 am to 5:30 pm (based on the day).

A background check is required for volunteering at Easterseals Ranch.
