Are you a retired professional or someone who enjoys giving back to the community? Scouting America is seeking dedicated volunteers to support district-level operations that help youth programs thrive across Broward County.
You do not need to be a parent of a Scout. We welcome anyone who enjoys sharing their experience, organizational skills, or mentorship with a mission-driven team.

Volunteer Roles Available:
Unit Commissioners provide guidance and encouragement to local Scout units and support leaders in delivering quality programs. Membership Support Volunteers assist with outreach, welcoming new families, and helping units grow. Program and Event Support volunteers help coordinate youth activities, advancement events, or volunteer training sessions. Administrative and Logistics Support volunteers assist with communications, scheduling, record-keeping, and behind-the-scenes operations that keep the district running smoothly.
Who We Are Looking For:
Individuals who enjoy supporting youth-focused community programs, sharing professional or life experience, working collaboratively with other volunteers, and helping strengthen local neighborhoods.
Location and Format:
Our district office is located at Camp Elmore in Davie, but we offer both in-person and remote volunteer opportunities throughout Broward County.
