Recruiting in Santa Clara and San Mateo CountiesPosition Description Information*Key Responsibilities This position is responsible for tasks assigned by the specific DisasterWorkforce Engagement Team program lead:* Support the annual workforce engagement goals, RDO objectives, andregional/chapter plan for volunteer engagement through participation inmeetings and projects.* Projects and participation will be assigned according to the area ofinterest: onboarding/placement, deployment, training, recognition andappreciation, leadership development, Volunteer Connection/profilemanagement and/or engagement.* Projects may include but are not limited to conducting volunteerinterviews, updating profiles in Volunteer Connection, recognition,analyzing reports/data, scheduling volunteers, etc.*Time Commitment 2-3 hours/week * Available during business hours.* Not recommended for those with a shorttime period for commitment (e.g. on summerbreak or on a short sabbatical).*QualificationsWillingness to comply with Red Cross COVID-19 policies for in-personvolunteer activities.Ability to:* follow and implement requests received from supervisor with little or nosupervision.* adapt to change, negotiate compromise, and tolerate ambiguity.* build effective relationships with others who can help with work relatedgoals.* be sensitive in human interactions to diversity inclusiveness.
