Shop and Make Cleaning Product BagsAny one of any age, any time, any where can volunteer to shop and make Cleaning Product Bags for families.Cleaning Product Bags support families maintain home hygiene and cleanliness and help to protect their child in the hospital from germs that may weaken their immune system, which is often compromised.We welcome you to make and donate as many bags as you choose. Thank you for volunteering!STEP 1: To make 1 Cleaning Product Bag, shop for the items listed below:1 disinfecting wipes (75+)1 toilet bowl cleaner (24 oz)1 glass cleaner spray (26 oz)1 bottle of floor cleaner (32 oz)2 non-scratch bathroom sponges1 antibacterial hand soap (11oz)1 all-purpose spray cleaner (32 oz)1 bleach-based spray cleaner (32 oz)1 individually wrapped roll of paper towels2 pairs of rubber gloves (1 medium, 1 large)1 pack multi-surface cleaning cloths (4+)1 bottle of multi-surface cleaner (32 oz)1 dish soap (14 oz)2 dish scrub spongesSTEP 2:Neatly place the items into There With Care's green tote bags. Please ask for supplies of green tote bags. Alternatively, use new brown paper grocery bags that have no information or decoration on both sides.STEP 3:(Optional)Include a handwritten, decorated, There With Care printed note card in each bag. About There With Care of the Bay Area
The Bay Area Chapter was created in 2011, seven years after the founding chapter opened in Colorado. There With Care receives referrals from medical social workers at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital in Palo Alto and UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital in Mission Bay, San Francisco.
