Available in:San Mateo and Santa Clara countyMeet with Latino communities within the chapter boundarieswith a focus on increasing access, trust, and information whileperforming core community engagement activities: communitymeetings, neighborhood canvassing, neighborhood services,partnerships, and neighborhood recruitment. Share informationabout Red Cross services available to diverse groups through apreferred community language.Latino Engagement Team Members work with the chapter’sCommunity Disaster Program Manager and will coordinate withother disaster teams based out of the chapter (DAT, health,mental health, SAF, preparedness). * Requires cultural competency, knowledge of theRed Cross, and a willingness to be the face of theRed Cross in the community.Time Commitment: 1-5 hours per week
