Animal Diet Specialist Volunteer – Animal Tracks, Agua Dulce, CAJoin the dedicated team at Animal Tracks, a wildlife sanctuary in Agua Dulce, CA, where every meal you prepare directly supports the health and happiness of our rescued exotic animals.Role: We’re seeking reliable, detail-oriented volunteers to help prepare diets for our animals. Tasks include chopping vegetables, cooking meats, boiling eggs, and assembling food bowls. Full training will be provided.Schedule: One morning per week (8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.) Minimum 6-month commitment requiredWhy It Matters: Proper nutrition is the cornerstone of animal welfare. Your work in the kitchen ensures that every animal—from kangaroos to capuchins—receives the care and nourishment they need to thrive. This behind-the-scenes role is vital to our mission.Volunteer Perks: Free admission to our educational wildlife tour (a $50 value) After 2 months: one hour of private kangaroo time for you and a friend—bring a picnic and enjoy their company! About Animal Tracks, Inc.
We are a forever home for a variety exotic animals and wildlife. The majority of our animals are rescued from the illegal exotic pet trade, retired from the entertainment industry, or owner surrendered. Since these animals would no longer be able to survive in the wild, we provide a nurturing place for them to live out the remainder of their lives. Our secondary goal is to discourage the public from purchasing or keeping exotic animals as pets therefore reducing the negative impact humans have on all wildlife. Through proper care, space, and love from our staff and community, we are giving our animals an opportunity to live out the remainder of their lives in safety and comfort.
