Volunteer Opportunities at Copper State Hospice

Copper State Hospice volunteers play an important role in helping patients make the most of every moment. Volunteers participate in a wide variety of meaningful activities, creating a unique and rewarding volunteer experience for each individual. We work in about 15 different locations.
Volunteer opportunities can include everything from Bingo, spa day activities, baking cookies, helping prepare bereavement letters, and sitting vigil with patients who may otherwise be alone during their final days. While some moments can be difficult, they are also deeply meaningful and impactful. We also offer capable volunteers the opportunity to complete weekly “Tuck-In” phone calls, checking in with care homes to ensure patients have everything they need going into the weekend.
