Help Build Two New Playspaces at Gateway Apartments!

Project Information
Who: A total of approximately 125 volunteers from Related Companies, Gateway Apartments, KABOOM! and the Far Rockaway community. Volunteers of all skill levels and abilites are welcome.
**Please note - Youth under the state's legal working age are welcome to join youth activities but may not work in active construction areas.**

PREP DAY 1: Tuesday, September 22 - 8:30AM - 3:00PM

*Construction Week will culminate with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 2:30PM to celebrate the completed build. Ceremony time may change based on the project completion.
Volunteers should arrive and check in at 8:30 AM on the day(s) they are volunteering. Each day will conclude at 3:00PM.
What's Provided: Breakfast, lunch and water will be provided. Gloves and other safety materials will be provided for the projects that require them. All volunteers will receive a T-shirt to wear during the project.
What to Wear: The playground build will happen rain or shine. Please come dressed for the weather. Closed-toe shoes are required; sneakers or work boots that you don't mind getting dirty are advisable. Please leave valuables at home as secure storage is not available on site.
Build Site Rules: All participants must comply with the following practices. These rules have been established and agreed upon to ensure the safety, comfort and respect for all involved. Failure to comply will result in immediate dismissal from the project.
