Prepare for A Farm to Table Dining at Esther Manor Farm

Brief Organizational Description:
Esther Manor Farm is a small farm that grows African and culturally important foods. We bring people together through farming, healthy food, education, and community events.
Volunteer Position Description and Purpose:
We are looking for volunteers to help prepare Esther Manor Farm for our annual Fall Farm-to-Table event. Volunteers will help get the farm clean, beautiful, and ready to welcome guests for this special event.
Volunteer Duties & Responsibilities:
Clean and organize areas around the farm
Put up signs and help with event decorations
Clean and prepare the walking trail
Plant and maintain flower beds
Help prepare the farm for guests
Run local farm errands as needed
Help with other simple tasks related to preparing for the Farm-to-Table event
Qualifications, Skills, & Requirements:
No farming or event planning experience is needed. Volunteers should be dependable, enjoy working outside, and be willing to help with a variety of tasks.
Time Commitment:
At least four hours. Dates and times will be shared when you sign up.
Other Information:
Volunteer hours will be recorded by Esther Manor Farm.
A short orientation will be provided before you begin.
Wear comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes or boots.
Bring work gloves, water, and sunscreen if you have them.
Parking is available at the farm.
Please be prepared to work outside and help wherever needed.
