Seeking Middle/High School Volunteer to Assist in Pottery Class - Wednesdays

Mother Brook Arts and Community Center has an opportunity for a creative, mature middle schooler or high schooler in the Ceramics Program this fall! Clay classes serve students 8 to 12 years old. While the ideal candidate is someone with experience in a pottery studio, anyone who is dependable and able to follow instructions is encouraged to apply! Help out as an older mentor!Where:Mother Brook Arts and Community Center123 High StreetDedham, MA 02026When:Wednesdays, 4:00pm-5:45pmJanuary 7 - March 18Duties:Roll slabs at the request of the instructorAssist with collecting and cleaning toolsAssist youth students on the wheel if they need help throwingCarve students' names into all of their piecesEnsure glaze is wiped off the bottoms of all piecesHelp the instructor thoroughly clean all tools and equipment at the end of classHow to ApplyInterested candidates you email Ceramics Program Director Donna Pioli at ceramics@motherbrook.org .
