About Us
Willows Way is a nonprofit organization based in St. Charles, MO, dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). For more than 30 years, we have provided compassionate, person-centered support that helps people live fulfilling, independent lives in their community.
Role of a Board Member
As a member of the Willows Way Board of Directors, you will help guide the strategic vision of the organization, ensure strong governance, and champion our mission. Board members serve as advocates, advisors, and ambassadors for Willows Way in the community.
Responsibilities
Attend and actively participate in board meetings (typically every other month).
Serve on at least one committee to support governance, finance, fundraising, or program development.
Provide strategic input and oversight to ensure the organization fulfills its mission and remains financially sustainable
Act as an ambassador for Willows Way, representing the organization in the community and expanding awareness of our mission.
Qualifications
We are seeking individuals who:
Are passionate about empowering people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Bring professional expertise (such as finance, law, healthcare, business management, human resources, or nonprofit leadership) or strong community connections.
Demonstrate integrity, collaboration, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion.
Can dedicate time and energy to advancing Willows Way’s mission.
