UACE Water Resources Research Center

The U of A Water Resources Research Center is seeking an AmeriCorps Volunteer with interest and experience related to water and/or environmental topics to assist with the Center¿s outreach programs. We are particularly interested in applicants with strong writing skills. The Water Resources Research Center works to tackle key water policy and management issues, empower informed decision-making, and enrich understanding through engagement, education, and applied research. Outreach and communications are a central part of our programs. We are seeking a motivated AmeriCorps Volunteer who wishes to contribute to sharing information about water management, policy, use, and research with a wide range of audiences. Outreach strategies include but are not limited to a weekly newsletter, webinars, special events, an annual conference, and the production and dissemination of water factsheets.
