That’s when I remembered watching my mom quietly deliver Meals on Wheels, week after week. In late 2022, I followed in her footsteps. My first route only took a couple of hours. But during that first week, something happened that changed everything. One woman said, “You’re the only human I’ll talk to today.”
That hit hard. I realized this wasn’t about meals—it was about connection. About showing up. And that giving my time meant more than any check I’d ever written. Why Find Your Two Exists That’s why I started Find Your Two.
The name is symbolic. It’s not always exactly two hours. It’s about finding your two—your version of time, energy, and care that you can give. A few minutes. A couple hours. An occasional day. We’re here to help you connect with causes that matter, in ways that fit your life. Because making a difference doesn’t require money, or titles, or a big gesture.
It just requires showing up—with a little time, a little heart, and the willingness to care.

The Moment Everything Changed.
Something incredibly important happened during my very first week delivering meals. After a warm conversation with one of the recipients, I thanked her for our chat, telling her how great it was to hear about her life and her stories. She looked at me with eyes that seemed both grateful and heartbroken, and quietly said:
"You're the only human I'll talk to today."
That single sentence reshaped everything for me. In that moment, I realized my real mission wasn't just about delivering meals—it was about connection, friendship, and being genuinely present for people who truly needed someone to care. It was about seeing the person behind the door, not just completing the task.
Building Family, Two Hours at a Time.
From then on, I paid closer attention. I remembered the details. I asked questions. I listened. I celebrated their joys and walked with them through the hard stuff. The people on my route stopped feeling like clients—they started feeling like family.
And that’s when something clicked:
If more people knew how meaningful this kind of service could be—and how little time it really takes—they’d want in.
If we could make volunteering easier, more accessible, and more personal, we could bring thousands of caring hands to the places they’re needed most.
