Make doing good easy.
Most of us want to help more than we actually do. Ask a room full of people if they’d like to help more in their community and every hand goes up. So why don’t they?
Because somewhere between “I should do something” and actually showing up, the friction wins. The signup forms. The applications. The long commitments. The not-knowing-where-to-start. The fear of showing up wrong.
Find Your Two kills that getting-there friction. Open the app. Use your location. See what’s needed nearby. Tap commit. Show up. Two hours. A real charity genuinely glad to see you—they’ll show you the ropes when you arrive. No cost, no pressure, no endless sign-up to work through first.
Turns out, when the getting there is easy, a whole lot of people do a whole lot of good.
Why “Find Your Two”?
The name came out of a conversation I kept having. People would go on about how awesome it was that I delivered meals — really pile on the credit — and I’d tell them, “It’s like two hours. Instead of giving me so much credit, find your two.”
Then I’d tell them the part I really meant: “If you find your two, we can change the world.”
That’s where the name comes from. The “two” was my two hours delivering meals, and the phrase stuck because it captures the idea — helping doesn’t have to be a huge thing to matter. Some opportunities on the platform take less than that. Some take a whole Saturday. The point of the name is the spirit of it: find the time you’ve got, and we’ll help you spend it well.
The matchmaker, not the middleman.
Volunteers find opportunities. Charities find volunteers. That’s it.
We’re not the employer, not the training provider, not the middleman taking a cut. We’re the matchmaker. The actual good happens between you and the charities you show up for.
Free for volunteers. Free for charities. Always.
Two Hours That Can Change the World.
From Poker Runs to Purpose
For years, I helped organize an annual charity poker run. We raised tens of thousands for local causes. But when COVID hit, the event disappeared—and with it, the way I gave back.
That’s when I remembered watching my mom quietly deliver Meals on Wheels, week after week. In late 2022, I followed in her footsteps. My first route only took a couple of hours. But during that first week, something happened that changed everything. One woman said, “You’re the only human I’ll talk to today.”
That hit hard. I realized this wasn’t about meals—it was about connection. About showing up. And that giving my time meant more than any check I’d ever written.
That’s how Find Your Two began—with a simple idea: you don’t need a ton of time to make a real difference. Just a few hours. The name is symbolic. It’s not always exactly two hours—it’s about finding your two, your version of time, energy and care that you can give. A few minutes. A couple of hours. An occasional day. We’re here to help you connect with causes that matter, in ways that fit your life.
Because making a difference doesn’t require money, or titles, or a big gesture. It requires showing up—with a little time, a little heart, and the willingness to care.
Let us help you find your two. You might just change a life—including your own.
The Moment Everything Changed.
Something incredible happened during my first week delivering meals. After a warm conversation with one of the recipients, I thanked her for our chat, telling her how great it was to hear about her life and her stories. She looked at me with eyes that seemed both grateful and heartbroken, and quietly said:
“You’re the only human I’ll talk to today.”
That single sentence reshaped everything for me. In that moment, I realized my real mission wasn’t just about delivering meals—it was about connection, friendship, and being genuinely present for people who truly needed someone to care. It was about seeing the person behind the door, not just completing the task.
Building Family, Two Hours at a Time.
From then on, I paid closer attention. I remembered the details. I asked questions. I listened. I celebrated their joys and walked with them through the hard stuff. The people on my route stopped feeling like clients—they started feeling like family.
And that’s when something clicked: if more people knew how meaningful this kind of service could be—and how little time it really takes—they’d want in. If we could make volunteering easier, more accessible, and more personal, we could bring thousands of caring hands to the places they’re needed most.
The Birth of Find Your Two
If each of us commits just two hours a week to showing up for our neighbors, we really can change the world. Not through grand gestures or massive commitments, but through consistent, authentic human connection.
A Few Hours, Big Difference
We believe that just a few hours of your time can brighten someone’s day, shift a burden, or change a life. One delivery. One conversation. One act of kindness—and the world gets better.
Find Your Two, Fuel the Change
When people discover how easy it is to give back, powerful things happen. We connect everyday folks with real-world needs in their community—because small efforts, multiplied, create massive impact.
Local Hearts, Lasting Impact
Whether you’re delivering meals, mentoring youth, or helping a local nonprofit, your hours matter. Together, we’re building a world where help is always just a few blocks away.
However You Can Help
I also understand that sometimes, two hours might not be feasible for everyone. Life is complicated. Schedules are overwhelming. Health challenges are real. Family demands are intense. That’s completely okay.
If volunteering isn’t possible right now, we can connect you directly to trusted charities where your financial contributions can make a huge difference. Whether you give time, money, or simply spread the word about our mission, you’re part of this movement. It takes all of us, each helping however we can.
Your Two Hours Are Waiting
Every day, there are people in your community who need exactly what you have to offer—your presence, your kindness, your unique perspective. There are opportunities to make a difference that fit your schedule, match your interests, and fill your heart.
The woman who told me I was the only human she’d talk to that day? She’s not alone. There are countless people just like her, waiting for someone like you to show up, to care, to see them as the valuable human beings they are.
Find your two. Let’s change the world together.
