What is Find Your Two?
It's the easy button for volunteering near you. Tell us the time you've got, and we match it to a real charity nearby that needs it.
Does it cost anything?
No. It's free for volunteers and free for charities. Always.
Do I have to give exactly two hours?
Not at all. The name comes from "find your two hours" — a reminder that helping doesn't have to be a huge thing. Some opportunities take less than that, some take a whole Saturday. You pick what fits your life.
How do I find something near me?
Open Opportunities and filter by the cause you care about, the day and time that work for you, and how far you want to go. You can also browse every charity in the charity directory.
Do I need the app?
No. You can sign up right here on the website or download the app from the App Store or Google Play. Same account either way.
How do I sign up for an opportunity?
Open the opportunity and tap "I'll do this." Some charities run their own sign-up; for those, we'll send you straight to their page to finish.
Can I bring my kids?
Look for the "Kids welcome" badge. It means the charity has confirmed kids can volunteer alongside their adult. Opportunities marked "Adults only" are for 18 and up.
Can I volunteer with a group?
Yes. Opportunities marked "Groups welcome" let one sign-up bring several people, up to the number shown. Great for friends, families, teams and clubs.
What do I do when I get there?
Show up and help. No long training. Just be there and make a difference. If you use the app, you can check in right from your phone when you arrive.
For charities and community groups
We're a charity. How do we get volunteers?
Register your charity. We review and verify within 24–48 hours, and then you can start posting opportunities. It's free. Not now, not later, not ever.
Our charity is already listed. Can we manage it?
Yes. Find your charity in the directory, open its page, and choose "Claim this organization." Once it's yours, you can post opportunities and manage your volunteers.
We're not a charity. Can we still post our events?
Yes, and you don't need nonprofit status. Register your group, choose "A community group or volunteer organizer," and we'll review it before your events appear, usually within 24–48 hours. If your events already live on Meetup, a public Google Calendar or any iCal calendar, paste that link once and we'll keep your upcoming events listed and up to date, so you never enter anything twice. Volunteers see your listings marked "Community group," and it's free.
